African Agri-Food Knowledge Transfer Partnership

Collaboration | Dr Eric Tchao (Ghana) & Dr Enoch Bessah (Ghana) will translate knowledge in their respective FAR-LeaF projects to an SME in Ghana through a £245,000 African Agri-Food Knowledge Transfer Partnership grant through DIPPER Lab.


DIPPER Lab is a cutting-edge research facility located at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, dedicated to advancing the use of IoT, blockchain, and edge-intelligence computing to drive innovation in the food and agriculture industries. To support digitisation initiatives in Ghana and the sub-region, the DIPPER Lab has been set up to focus on engaging, educating, and cultivating local technology ecosystems while making blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT) a central pillar of the computing ecosystems across this region. The Lab supports students, researchers, Faculty, developers, and community-affiliated entrepreneurs who seek to design, build, and deploy local technology solutions using blockchain and IoT.

The Future Africa Research Leadership Fellowship (FAR-LeaF) is an early career research fellowship program focused on developing transdisciplinary research and leadership skills.
