18th June 2023 International Day for Countering Hate Speech


Hate speech is a contemporary existential threat bedeviling nearly all countries. It is on the rise worldwide and can incite violence, undermine social cohesion and tolerance, and cause psychological, emotional, and physical harm to those affected. As responsible community members, we must unite and combat hate speech. We must take a firm stance and reject any form of hate speech unequivocally.

The Future Africa Research Leadership Fellowship (FAR-LeaF) is an early career research fellowship program focused on developing transdisciplinary research and leadership skills.
